Required Documents for Merchant Approval

To evaluate your application and establish a merchant account, Tryla requires basic information about your business, owners, and payment processing needs.


Information Required During Application

As part of the onboarding process, you will be asked to provide:

  • Legal business name
  • Business address and contact information
  • Tax identification number (EIN)
  • Ownership and director information
  • Business website and social media profiles (if applicable)
  • Description of your products or services
  • Expected monthly processing volume
  • Average transaction amount
  • Highest expected transaction amount
  • Payment methods you plan to accept (credit cards, debit cards, ACH, etc.)
  • Banking information for settlements and deposits

Providing complete and accurate information helps speed up the approval process.


Additional Documentation

Depending on your business type, processing volume, risk profile, or underwriting requirements, we may request additional documentation.

Identity Verification

  • Government-issued photo ID for business owners or authorized signers
  • Passport
  • Driver’s license
  • State-issued identification card

Address Verification

  • Utility bill
  • Bank statement
  • Government correspondence
  • Lease agreement

Business Verification

  • Articles of Incorporation

  • Certificate of Formation

Financial Documentation

  • Recent business bank statements
  • Processing statements from a previous provider
  • Financial statements
  • Voided check or bank letter

Website & Business Review

We may review your website and business operations to verify:

  • Products and services offered
  • Pricing transparency
  • Refund and return policies
  • Contact information
  • Business legitimacy and compliance requirements


Why Additional Documents May Be Requested

Additional documentation helps our underwriting team verify your business, comply with banking regulations, prevent fraud, and ensure your account is approved as quickly as possible.

Not all applicants will be asked to provide additional documents.


Review Timeline

Most applications are reviewed within 48–72 business hours after all required information and supporting documentation have been received.
